Training and Development
We have a comprehensive induction and training programme that equips you to perform highly in your role. At Hallam24 Healthcare, we have a very high expectation from our staff which in turn delivers very high standards of care. This is why we invest heavily in the training and development of our staff. In order to maintain our standards, we offer free uniform to staff
We pay a mileage allowance for qualifying runs when you use your own car for business. All we ask is that you get the correct business insurance for the work you do.

NB. Our recruitment process is a three-step process which must be completed before an offer of employment is made to successful candidates.
Step One - Telephone Interview
Step Two - Successful applicants will be invited to a face to face interview
Step Three - Background checks once you are successful at stage one and two which involves a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Check, Right to Work in the UK & traceable references, one of which MUST be a current or previous employer.
All our healthcare professionals - nurses, healthcare and support workers are required to have a minimum of six months experience in the UK Healthcare sector before we can register you for temporary, flexible work opportunities.
NB. Homecare workers do not require any experience but must be willing to undergo 12 weeks of Training to achieve the Care Certificate requirements.
Two professionally written UK references relevant to your healthcare experience are required for your application.
Here is a list of documents which are generally required from you to work in the private sector:
- Employment History
- Right to work in the UK/visa
- 2 x passport photographs
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Utility Bills less than 3 months old
- NMC certificate/Pin number for qualified staff
- Relevant qualifications and training .i.e NVQ2
- Driving license
For NHS opportunities, all of the above documentation is required as well as the completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire together with all the necessary immunisations.
